Financial Education : Who else just loves the part at 5:49??!!! I want to hear that chorus soooo bad! I can already tell that song will be one of the best on the album
Abel Nava : Confirmen si este álbum también salio en la mejor etapa de su vida
Khwezi : Still in awe of everything that went into the lyrics, beats, instruments, arrangement, production EVERYTHING!! Fan forever!!
nirvanasan sproutic : Aun recuerdo el dia cuando vi este video por primera vez, fue una sensacion increible, y ahora sigo sintiendo lo mismo.
Mia Céline : I remember watching this back in 2016 when I was 9 years old, and I didn’t understand a thing about the lyrics or the video, all I knew was that I loved it. Every piece of it. The music, his voice, the music video, everything.
The Weeknd proved me that music doesn’t need understanding, just enjoyment.
Today at 14 years old I’m one of his biggest fans. Now I understand the meaning behind his songs, his albums.
Abel tells a story, in each and every one of his songs, which he has yet again showed this year with his masterpiece After Hours. Abel is unlike any other artist or musician I have ever seen.
The way he tells a story in every performance, in every video, makes people understand his character and meaning behind the lyrics, is just beyond amazing.

Back then I never realized that he was beyond our time, I never realized what a positive change he and his music would have in my life, so all I want to say is thank you.

Thank you Abel.

I don’t think he realizes what an impact he makes when he creates his masterpieces of music, and I hope that I one day will get the honor to thank him in person. This might sound weird but his music really saved me. When I was in a dark place I started listening to his music, and that somehow made me pull through. Idk, music has a weird effect.

The Weeknd is just beyond our time. He is unlike any other musician, he is unique and one of a kind. I’ve never experienced music this way before I listened to Abel’s music, it’s just hard to even put words to describe it. The way he went from being homeless and addicted to performing at the Super Bowl with millions watching and becoming one of the greatest artists of all time is astonishing.
So thank you lol.
Xotwod, always.

Psychiatric Interviews for Teaching: Mania

In this film, a psychiatrist assesses a man who has been referred by his GP. The patient demonstrates flight of ideas, pressure of speech, disinhibition, punning, grandiose delusions, and second person auditory hallucinations. His presentation is consistent with mania.

Please note that this video has been made by the University of Nottingham for teaching purposes. The psychiatrist is a real psychiatrist but the patient is played by an actor.
sahir zulkifli : give that man an oscar!
Armin ND : The actor played terrifically. Thanks for the video
Allan Dill : "They call me the manic mechanic"
Me: *Died*
University of Nottingham : This is indeed a staged scenario using actors.
Agent 222 : even his shirt is manic. i love it

How To Tell what Mania and Hypomania Really Look like

Bipolar disorder is often very misunderstood. There’s a common misconception that anything unstable must be bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder is really defined by the presence of mania or hypomania. Depression is present in both bipolar disorder and unipolar depression. So if you are at the stage of wondering do I have bipolar disorder? The first question you and your doctor or therapist have to answer is have you had a manic episode? Because mania is the defining characteristic of bipolar disorder.

In this video I also answer the question can your bipolar diagnosis change from bipolar 1 to bipolar 2?

In today's video I will define the difference between mania and hypomania and I’ll answer the question of can your diagnosis change between bipolar one and bipolar two? This video is to help you understand what mania is, it’s not to help you diagnose yourself. If you think you may have bipolar disorder, you should see a doctor or therapist to be evaluated.

MamasHomeBlog : "Some people enjoy their hypomania because it's a relief from their depression." oh my gosh this HIT me.
Elizabeth Manning : I always know when I’m manic (hypomania since I’m bipolar 2) now because I become obsessed over things. I stay up all night researching, planning, making lists. My spending becomes hard to control. My favorite one was when I started training for a marathon, only to train up to 7 miles just to become depressed and not run for like 3 months after that.
25%offCD’s : I was once hypomanic for 3 months. It was really tough. Mania isn’t just happy. It’s euphoria and rage and sexuality all bundled into one and your thought process is altered. Really bad ideas seem like really good ideas and you know you’re destroying yourself and scaring those around you, but you can’t stop. Thank you for these videos.
Brave Starr : I recently sent my psychiatrist a long email accusing him of being a "Snake Oil" salesman. Luckily, he knew I was manic and saw the funny side of it.
JMSC : I’m coming down off a manic episode with psychotic features that landed me in inpatient. I’m still struggling to accept my diagnosis, but this video, as per usual, makes me feel like I’m less alone, and like this isn’t the end of the world.
